In this new year and new beginning, I have been reminiscing about the years past at Bailey's.

There is a warmth and homeiness in the house that comes from echoes of families who made this their home, whether for years or days.

I hope that in this coming new year you find as much love, laughter and family togetherness that we have at Baileys House.

This is our favorite time of the year. The colors are just beginning to change, but the weather is so gorgeous that you have to be outside and enjoy every minute.

Whether you're sitting in the backyard or down at Anclam Beach, it's a special time of the year. Take time to listen to the waves breaking at Cave Point, or enjoy the stuning night sky at Newport State Park where the stars are almost close enough to touch.

TALL SHIPS FESTIVAL STURGEON BAY JULY 2025

The Tall Ships will be back in Sturgeon Bay from July 31-Aug. 3 - their first visit since 2019! These magnificent sailing vessels are known for their impressive size and majestic appearance on the water. Watching Tall Ships in action is a captivating experience, as they not only showcase the artistry of nautical craftsmanship but also evoke a sense of adventure and exploration reminiscent of maritime history. Four vessels will visit the city: the Liberty Clipper, Pride of Baltimore II, Utopia, and When and If.

Visitors will have the chance to see these majestic vessels up close, learn their history, and even purchase a ticket to experience a rare sail away on these incredible ships. Check the Destination Door County or the Door County Maritime Museum website
